2011/2012 Tryouts

The cost of Impact Volleyball tryouts is $50.

Tryout Registration
• 2011-2012 Tryout Resistration Form

12-and-under tryouts will be held on October 29 and 30th from 9am-11am.
13-and-under tryouts will be held on October 29 and 30th from 11am-1pm.
14-and-under tryouts will be held on November 5 / 8am-10am, Nov 6 / 12pm-2pm.
15-and-under tryouts will be held on November 5 / 10am-12pm, Nov 6 / 2pm – 4pm
16-and-under tryouts will be held on November 12 and 13th from 9am-11am.
18/17-and-under tryouts will be held on November 12 and 13th from 11am-1pm.

All players must be registered with the USVBA prior to tryouts for any club team in the North Texas Region.  You can access online registration at our website www.impactvb.com

While it is not required to attend both days of tryouts, we strongly suggest being present on both days to give yourself the best opportunity to make a team by allowing our coaching staff the maximum amount of time to assess your ability.

Notification
You may be offered a position on one of our teams at the conclusion of either tryout date.  We may also contact you after tryouts to offer you a position on one of our teams.

Acceptance of team invitation
According to the USVBA guidelines, you have until noon on the Monday following tryouts to accept an offer made by Impact Volleyball Club.  To commit to Impact Volleyball Club you will need to sign the “North Texas Region Offer and Acceptance Agreement” and make your initial fee payment.  This payment can be for the entire club dues or the initial installment.  Once you sign this form and make this initial payment you are committed to the team for the 201/2012 club volleyball season.

Tryouts are an exceptionally stressful time for players, parents, and coaches.  At Impact we will do our best to alleviate any undue burdens on all parties through effective communication and a high degree of professionalism.  Unfortunately, some of these pressures are simply inherent parts of the tryout process.

Helpful Hints:

1. Attend skills clinic in the months leading up to tryouts.
2. Wear a bright T-shirt to tryouts.
3. Have a great attitude during tryouts. Accept coaching with, “OK coach,” and a smile.
4. Work hard. Don’t walk!
5. Try to relax and enjoy the game you love!  You’re in a gym playing the greatest sport in the world!

13 & Under – Born on or after September 1, 1998
14 & Under – Born on or after September 1, 1997
15 & Under – Born on or after September 1, 1996
16 & Under – Born on or after September 1, 1995
17 & Under – Born on or after September 1, 1994
18 & Under – Born on or after September 1, 1993
