Head Coach – Travis Ferguson

Travis Ferguson founded Impact and serves as its Club Director. As a starting setter, Travis led his High School team to three district championships, two state championships, and one state runner-up. He was named district MVP twice and earned the State Player of the Year Award in 1992. He continued setting at UC San Diego before transferring to Cal State Northridge, where he started as the setter of the 4th ranked team in NCAA Division 1. Upon graduating from CSUN Travis started teaching at his high school alma mater where he had been coaching volleyball since 1993. Travis was the head coach of the girls program there from 1998-2003 and head coach of the boys from 2001-2006, before moving to Texas. He coached multiple district championship teams, and his girl’s team took the state championship in 1998. Travis’ former players have gone on to receive scholarships in many Division 1 programs including UCLA, USC, Syracuse, UCSB, Cal State Northridge, Pepperdine, BYU and Cal Berkley. His players have achieved recognition both as NCAA Division 1 champions and internationally as professional volleyball players. |
