About
Impact Volleyball Club was founded in 2007 in Rockwall, TX by Director Travis Ferguson and the Rockwall Indoor Sports Expo. Impact Volleyball was established in an effort to provide a competitive outlet to junior girls volleyball players and parents looking for a viable alternative to volleyball clubs in downtown Dallas. The first season, Impact’s six teams confirmed both the demand for a new volleyball club in the North Texas Region, as well as, Impact’s ability to compete. After the 2007 campaign the RISE and Travis elected to go their separate ways, giving Travis exclusive control over Impact Volleyball. The 2009 season saw Impact grow from six to nine teams, ushered in a staff of nearly twenty phenomenally talented and dedicated coaches, and expanded the tournament schedule beyond local NTR tournaments, including the Big South Qualifier in Atlanta and the Houston Cross Court Invitational. In 2009 Impact Volleyball established its regionally based Classic teams and HighLine traveling teams to more effectively meet the needs of players and parents in the area. Impact is proud of its brief yet rich heritage and looks forward to a bright future.
